Tendencies To Tremble

Carcinogenic–

climbing closer to this praise-worthy stem

tides far lower than ever before,

fire in the breath staunches wounds

cauterizing veins

unholy smokers unredeemed

yet divinely satyrizing

all the playhouses

within the helping domain.

Carcinogenic–even carnivorous

yet prayed upon

when bright starlit skies implode

and posture the tasks mastered

under stormier sighs,

harder to grasp.

Carcinogenic–

yet free from emblems,

leaf from a page pressed

within encyclopaedic

massive broken tome

crumbled to dust,

and under the glow-worm's

incandescence

there comes frigidly struck

the tendency to tremble.
